Time For a lift-RANCHO or Warn or Superlift? Help me decide

Okay fellow explorers My project :
1993 XLT 4x4 4 door
Objective: 4" Lift + footwear 33" x 10.50 or 11.50 /15

Products in question: Rancho 4" lift
Warn 4"
SuperLift 4"

RS 9000's obviously!!

Has anyone used any of these products? pro's/ con's?
Price really isn't the big deal here I want strong/durable gear which won't require a bunch of hidden extra cost..ie fender flares or ?
I'd like to get 33"x10.50x15" tires under her- and prefferably with no rubbing. If need be I'll get some steel rock crawler wheels with the proper offset.

I'm going to bump this back up in case someone has experience with any of those lifts.

I am looking at the trial master 4" lift. It doesn't come with shocks though. I don't like that. The rancho lifts come with rs5000's It sounds like superlift has problems, and I don't like the idea of the passenger side sticking out further than the drivers side tire. I hope someone can respond though, cause I'd like to know which one is best as well.

I have the superlift 4" and haven't had any problems other than finding a place to do a good alignment. I finally found a two man garage who uses only the best 'old tools' , if you know what I mean. After going to NTB numerous times and a couple other places, these guys clamped on a bubble told me how far the camber was off and used a tape measure to check other things..no charge.
But as far as the lift, I had no real problems and it was $850 for everything. Mine is almost dead center even where the tires stick out.

Wow, That's a great price on the 4" Superlift. Where did you get it at that price. I have been looking for a lift for a couple of months now and could only find the SL 4" for $1200 not including brakle lines or shocks. I'm opting for the 5.5 because its less $$$.

I believe it was through http://www.4wpw.com, but I just checked and didn't see it listed. Find their number and call it and ask. I'll check the receipts. If your even questioning going to the 5.5", go ahead. It is cheaper and you won't be disappointed. I am battling back and forth about getting longer springs to go on up. I don't think you'll be sorry if you go Superlift.

I guess I forgot about the brake lines and steering you'll need, but even with spending the extra money, you will absolutely love it. You don't need the before mentioned items with the 4" lift unless you plan on going for the most flex you can. With the 5.5", you'll have to get the longer brake lines and steering components, so you won't have to go back and redo work you've already got it done in one swoop.

http://www.rockymountainsusp.com has the superlift for either 735 or 1032. I'm not sure which is which, but I am guessing the superrunner kit is the 1032.

Thanks on the lift info. You guys have convinced me to stay with my original decision and go with the 5.5. I'm ording it this week. Now all I have to do is find someone to install it. I've been quoted $450 but could go higher once in the shop..I was told. I was also quoted $250-350 for an alignment?????This sounded kinda high. My 4x4 shop told me that explorers are known to have expensive alignments. I'll be mounting 32's on when I get the lift. This just seems alitte high in price.

Those prices do seem to be correct. I would however get an exect quote for the install though. Just to be safe.

Warn doesn't make Black Diamond suspensions anymore so find parts for a Warn lift if you can find one would be hard to do

Scott, $450 is pretty good for an install, IF they write it in stone for you. An alignment can get high depending on the work they must do to get it back. I have already shelled out $80 for a shop who says they cannot go any farther. I have an appointment for tomorrow to go to another shop and shell out $130 more but they say they can get it on the money. We shall see....
