Well after much thought, and forsight into my career, i am changing the plan for my explorer.
Overall scope: BAJA
twin turbo/or supercharged? 331
long travel suspension

This is being very general.
For now, i am making my explorer more daily driver type. I just traded my beloved super swampers for some all terrains. I cant believe how much power they rob. I put my stock tires back on, it was a very noticable difference. My next plan of action is to build a 99 cobra rr hood for my explorer. After this winter i will be choppin the back from the windows up (after the rear doors). Then i will move onto the engine. Plans unknown, maybe just a cammed 306, or 331. If i can find a turbo for cheap around here i might go that route, someone on my boat has some serious connections to a shop down the street, hookup? hopefully.
That is all for now. I had what i wanted wide and aggresive, but it wasnt practical. I need to drive my explorer more now so swampers are a waste of money, gas too.
