In my 96 XLT (5.0) I had a squeaking crank angle sensor so I removed it and applied some wd-40 wich took away the noise. I did mark the base so I would be able to put it back without loosing the time, but hapened that I am not sure that it really came back exactly in the same position. My question is how I can set the time with the gun and how much degrees? Sounds easy but I don't know if I need to perform any special step, like disconecting some wire to the PCM.

Thanks for the help
