So about a month ago my check engine light came on and gave me a code of p0016 which said most likely my camshaft position sensor on bank 1a is likely bad. No noticeable problems or powerless though, the vehicle still ran fine. However, on the way to autozone to pick up a replacement sensor, all of a sudden my car went into limp home mode. So I pulled over and scanned the system and now my vehicle has 7 codes!!!?!!?
Wth?! So I installed the new sensor erased the codes and nothing changed. Vehicle is still in limp mode and all the codes came back. Can't be a coincidence that so many things stopped working at once. Hoping that 1 maybe 2 things threw the codes and hopefully easy to fix. Codes are:
P0016 - cam position correlation
P0011 - variable camshaft timing
P0021 - intake cam bank 2 more advanced
P0151 - O2 sensor low voltage
P0172 - bank 2 rich fuel mixture
P0299 - possible broken turbo or low oil
P061B - pcm made torque calculation error
Before all this happened there was no check engine light on and the vehicle ran perfectly fine and sounded great. Any info would be much appreciated.
