Tinted Glass on North Face

Hi guys - in his thread Blueka mentioned that the rear door he fitted to his Ex came from a North Face and had tinted glass. When I first got my North Face I was surprised at just how darkly tinted the glass was - is this standard or do you think its been done aftermarket? The windscreen has the dark tinted band across the top and has a little dash where the tint fades so looks original?

The glass on my North face was tinted when I bought it from Ford, they said it was original.

I asked because at the time I was part xing a car with tints I had put on and the Police were checking a lot of tinted windows on cars.

Don't know if it was just sales talk but have seen a few north face with the same degree of tint.
