every time you change oil or open the hood it a good idea to
look at your rubber hoses ,dry rotted hoses cause a lot of problems
like poor fuel performance, sluggesh throttle ,slow or no responce when
going into 4x4 and busted water hoses

Most belts and hose fail from the inside out. Rubber hose
(which are actually made of neoprene and other synthetic materials)
deteriorate with age and exposure to heat.
The hose material can become hard and brittle.
Tiny cracks develop in the rubber which eventually cause the hose to split,
blister or leak. Oil on the outside of coolant hose can also accelerate the
breakdown of the hose material. This type of deterioration can usually be
seen on the outside.
But what often escapes detection is what’s going on inside hose.

if the hose feels hard or a unusally soft in one spot it a good idea to change them.
preventive maintance will save you a lot of time on the side of the road maybe eliminate it

feel free to add i am allways open to suggestion:thumbsup:

I like em ;) I especially like the stuff you wont find in the shop manual, like the thing about using the chain saw/cordless drill to run the AC generator to charge up a dead battery! Keep it up!
