Tips on A4LD removal.

tomorrow im taking out my a4ld trans in my 93 explorer to replace the front seal. any tips on the removal and seal install would be amazing

Drop the Y pipe, get a 3foot 3/8 drive extension, If it has the deep sump pan it dont sit very well on the trans jack. bag and label every thing. Mark your driveshafts when you pull them. Have some one turn the motor when you pull the converter bolts out. The transmission is tail heavy so it will tip back. DO NOT CUT THE TRANS LINES like I said you have to drop the y pipe any way so will be able to get to them.

Oh yeah replace your rear main seal while your back there, I did not and it started leaking like 2 days after I put the trans back in.
