i have an 02 explorer xlt completly stock,what would be the best nobby tires that could fit without a lift,or is there any wide tires i can put on...any help is much appreciated

Go to the wheels and tires section. The first sticky thread has a list of what size you can fit on the explorer with no lift.

if you want knobby tires go with anything made by Interco
except thornbirds.
