I felt vibration In the steering wheel of my car. Soon after, my tire sensor fault light came on. I took my car to have the tires and the vibration checked and they said the sensor in my right passenger tire had come loose and was rolling around the wheel. That was causing the vibration. Tires were fine. I had them totally remove the sensor. Now how do I get the light and the message to reset so I don't see it every time I turn the car on?

You can't turn off the Tire Pressure Monitor System. It's input is required by the PCM which checks for the input every time you start the car. You either comply with all of its demands for cash or press the reset button every time you start the engine. So, how much money is it worth (to you) to not press the button?

There are no other penalties for not throwing money at it. The vehicle will run forever with the Tire Pressure Idiot Light on. It's just another useless, expensive, option that you can't get rid of.
