EXPLORER YEAH!!!
So I have 33 mt tires currently on my rig and I want to go too a/t for awhile but since the size difference between the two I was thinking I would get 34 35's would I still need to re-gear even though they are a/t vs. M/t tires? I have stock gears and yes I know it's hard on the car.

If you've got 33's on there with stock 3.27/3.73 gears, it's already more than what the stock drivetrain should have to handle. AT or MT makes little difference, it's the diameter of the tire and the weight of the tire that matter. 35's of any type are going to weigh more and have a larger diameter.

33's are already pushing it, I'd suggest getting new 4.56 gears instead of worrying about getting larger 35 in tires, or getting 4.88/5.13 gears to go with the 35's.

Otherwise, you might want to get some 30-32 inch tires to go with the stock gears.
