Tire size on 16" rim??

Hi,
95 EB, going w/ TT and add-a-leaf. My EB has 16" rims, most info. I see is on 15" rims. Does it make a diff. tire size vs. rim size?? What can I get away with. Right now I have 265/75/16 ( how does this convert to i.e. 30", 31", 32', etc.)

265/75/16s calculate out to 31.6

Of course this depends on brand/model ... there can be a half inch, or so, difference from the nominal spec

SO,
I guess 32" wouldn't be out of the question?? I know tire width would also be an issue.

I should have finished ... your 265/75/16s calculate out to 31.6x10.5x16. Seems like a lot of people have to do some minor plastic trimming to go much bigger but many do not
