what is the biggest size tire that i can put on my 93 xlt without rubbing? also, are the bfg a/t's that noisy on the street?
any info would greatly be appreciated.

I know that you can, for sure, mount 30x9.50's on your stocker without any fear of rubbing. I ran that size for a long time and never had a problem. Also, I am on a fire department in mid-rural Missouri, so, I see alot of rough roads and quicker than average speeds(not mach speeds but quicker than normal). They never had a problem. I did, on my 93 xlt, have 31x10.50's for about a week before adding the 1" spacers to the front and add-a-leafs in the rear. I had no problem in the rear and no real problems up front. There was some very slight rubbing but not much. The only problem I had was on my siren speaker that was mounted just in front of the tire and behind my Smittybuilt bumper. But, that is a problem that, more than likely, only I have. Hope this helps a litte!

Take care and happy exploring!
