I had the tires balanced not rotated on my 93 ranger. As soon as I left the shop I noticed evertime I took off from a light I had a really bad shudder. Kid of like a plug wire came loose. I got home and checked the plugs and the retourqued the lug nuts but still the same.
It only does it in first not reverse. Ive got about 5000 miles on the tranny that I rebuilt using Glaicers guide and other info from the site. And last but not least I have done a search and didn't come up with anything useful.
Thanks in advance.

My first thought would be to check the u-joints.

U joints and carrier bearing are about 8 months old. But I will rechech. I got time at work tonight I pans on changing the wheel bearing I know one is bad

is the engine missing?

It does have a small miss at idle. that started after I replaced the heads a couple of months ago. all the cylenders hve around 180psi new wire and new plugs.
Got the wheel bearing, break caliper and pads changed tonight but the problem still there. My current thought are the tranmission. Ive got the up grade orings for the reverse piston waiting to be installed. May pop them in theis weekend.
