tires for '98 Mountaineer AWD

Mine has 100% stock suspension. No TT, no shackles, etc. Check your door sticker for the torsion bar code. I can't remember right off what each code is, but I remember checking mine a few months ago and I apparantly have the stiffest tbars that were available.

whats the best pleace to get the shackles and AAL

I just got Michelin LTX M/S 245-75-15's for my 98 Mounty - They are advertised to be 30.7 inches diameter and 9.6 inches wide. They fit and drive great.

anybody? where can I get the AAL, and do I need the shackles too?

31's

ok, here is the link to my thread with my 31x10.5's... of course I have a TT and added warrior shackles (available at www.jackit.com yet I'm sure you can find them other places) and I had replaced my rear leaf springs with new ones from JCWhittney.

It works, you just have to copy and paste the link in the address bar. That's what I did anyway since it didn't work (only if you click on it)

Where can I get the add a leaf?

anybody? i need to know where i should get the AAL

Summit Racing has them, ebay has them, some parts stores may carry them though they may have to be ordered. Pro Comp is the most popular one, part #13120 and summitracing.com part # is EXP-13120

Yes you do. You have altered the angles of the individual suspension components therefore causing your toe and camber to be out. The stock camber is set by spacer plates. These need to be replaced with cams to allow adjustability(~$30). After replacement of those you'll need an alignment(~$80 from a reputable shop).

When you do go for an alignment make sure to notify them of the changes you have made.

you speak of cams to adjust camber, where would I buy them?
