2005 ford explorer xlt
I recently bought a 2005 explorer xlt with the 4.0. I am getting a grinding/rubbing noise from the drivers side when I do sharp left turns. I had it looked at when I got my oil changed yesterday. the mechanic said my tires are too big and aren't the right size. my tires are 245 75 16. he said its rubbing against the fender liner I think, which I cant tell by looking at it. it doesn't seem like my tires are too big. if so what size am I suppose to run? thanks

I have 255's on my stock 02 and they don't rub at all

Those fender liners are held on with push-pins.
Check to see if any are loose or missing, of if the
liner itself is torn or bent.

The tire size is OK.

Thanks guys ill check

I ended up breaking a motor mount. When I got it fixed for 280 the noise went away. Thanks
