Hi Guys
I have a 03 Explorer. I have 265/75/16s on it now. I have a set of nice 15 inch rims. They will fit without any problems. I am debating on 31x10.5s or 32x11.5s tires. I want to lift it up 2 inches. What your thoughts on size of tires?

Thank you

A 265/75/16 is essentially a 32x10.5. That is already big for an explorer who's stock tire size is 235/70r16 (29x9.25). You are already 3 " taller and 1.25" wider than stock. I would not go and bigger than the old standard of the day 31x10.5r15

Firestone Destination A/T 245/75/R16 looks great in the wheel wells and the added sidewall helps the ride a little. Previously ran 265/70/R16

15” rims will not clear the spindles and calipers, stick with the 16” rims. I have 265/75/16’s on 16x8 -6 offset rims, plenty of clearance with a 3” body lift and 2” strut spacers. I could easily fit 285/75/16’s (33x11.5) but didn’t want to over stress the tranny (3.55 gears) for a 1/2” more height.
