To burn the car,..or not to burn ??

My 2002 ford Explorer 4.0L 2wd. automatic-Transmission,
Will not shift into 3-gear,.."Again" !! It's the 3 -time this car is having Transmissions problem.
And I swear if it wasn't for my wife and kids who un-explainly "adore" this car,.. I might have set it on fire.
I live in the Caribean,.... www.curacao.com ...and I think the local shop is ripping me off.
I open up the trans-oil-pan, and I found the piece ( fork ) that holds the Intermediate band. and the band looks broken ( very loose )
Now can someone sendt me a link to download a Transmission shop manual or diagram, because this time I am going to rebuild it my self.
Cheaper and might last longer.
Please I will appreciate all help.

I just finished assembling an " IKEA"- Furniture ( more than 100x small pcs.) for my wife and there were no scews left.
So I think I'm ready to take on the Transmission.
I'm going to order the Superior rebuild kit, so I can get the "Band".
If anyone still got an shop manual, download-able,....pls.
