took apart my lense, what glue to use?

hey guys, i've got a stupid question here..

i took apart my light lense to give the inside a wipe (just tinkerin around), and now I'm wondering what adhesive I should use when putting it back together?

Butyl glue

I used butyl rubber sealant before and have no problems so far.
