Does anyone know if those Tornado air things are supposed to work with cold air intakes? I have one in my 03 Explorer 4.0 with a K&N cold air intake and haven't noticed much, if any difference. I has been in there for a couple months now.

You won't notice either a power injcrease or a mileage boost.

I can't remember the last time I saw an add for these things.

ive had 2 people buy them at autozone this week. i almost feel bad.... if they seem like good people (ive had about 10 people intrested in it this summer), ill save them, but some people...

Please....If you are one of those people that see the Tornado and actually think it will give your engine more power and better fuel economy, you really need to evaluate your shopping habits. This is common sense folks... if a $2 twisted scrap of aluminum could give a $40,000 SUV better gas mileage, don't ya think the engineers would have stuck one in there?

are you freaking kidding me?

Somewhere there is some guy that is very rich over this POC taking peoples money and in return giving them a bottle of snake oil. I would like to see the tests they used for the marketing BS. In what convoluted situation did it actually make a horsepower difference :dunno:

i think willy wonka makes these.

it made more power in one of those TV magic kinda ways. i remember an impala ss on the dyno in the commercial, and the dyno had a giant tach on the wall in front of the car. and if you pay attention, the needle doesn't move with the rpm's of the car, or wiggle when the car shifts.....

Oh... Well... Since they were using a Chevy that kinda makes sense :D
