Torque converter mod

Has anyone ever tried to modify the torque converter (electronically..like the brown wire mod)such that to keep it locked up on the highway? If you cruise down the highway, let off the gas, then get back into it, the converter unlocks then relocks. This will happen more often with the cruise control on.

I don't think there's any kinda wire mod for it. I looked into gettin a 3000 stall a while back but they're pretty pricey.
