i have the longer torsion bolts already but wanted to know if the torsion key would be better for a higher lift and i wanted to know since i have a 2wd i could crank the torsion bar more since i dont have a 4wd? can anybody help?

If you keep the stock T-keys and significantly raise the truck (>1.5") you'll have a tremendous pressure on that stock key. The reason for going to an aftermarket key is to re-index the point where the T-bar inserts into the key, thus reducing the stress on the key to be at, or lower than the stock key.

My opinion, if you're going to adjust over 1", then get the torsion key kit replacement from someone like Truxxx.com.

Good luck.
