In order to gain height in the front of my 2001 Explorer sport I have decided on doing a TT. I have heard that doing a TT is fine, but i have also heard from others that doing a TT is very unsafe(it is a daily driver.) what does everyone think?

This is one of the most common questions on the forum. Up in the bar above there is a button that says search. click it then search for torsion twist.

Here is a quick answer. Only one person has had a torsion bar fail and that was because he weakened it when he slammed the bar into a rock. It didnt break wheeling either. The other "problem" is that your CV joint will be stressed a little more. It will really kill your CV joints if you crank up more than 2 inches. But if you stay at 2 inches or less you will be fine. Just get an alignment after you do it.

Ok89 is right. Tons of people on here have done it with no problems, as I have. It WILL make your ride a bit stiffer, but in my opinion makes it a little nicer. If you dont find what your looking for by searching, email me with questions.
