Anyone running these tires yet? They look awesome:

They're finally comming out with 33's this year, which most of you would be happy with. They have a 35", but its 35x13.5x15 and i just dont think i could fit that under my truck :( (actual size for the 35's are 34.8x14.4  )

Here's the website

It seems like any tire i can get through work at "cost" they dont make. First i had to get rid of my xterrains due to commuting to school- wanted 35" conti's, but they only go up to 33" so i went with BFG. Figure I wont be commutin next year and really really miss the aggressive look- so figure these tires would be awesome and quite cheap for me, but they dont make them either.

Maybe I can convince the Toyo rep to start making 35x12.50x15's - ill let him advertise on my truck if i get a free set

Under the contact link there's actually a specific place to request tire sizes.

Im supplying a link here. I urge everyone- even if you're only 33's or dont care about toyo tires to click this link and put in a quick message. They ask for vehicle info. I put down im an explorer owner, that's why in my first sentence i make sure to say its a "trail rig". Just in case, oh and i also mentioned Jeep because of their marketing ability ;)

Anyway, here's the message i put in the questions/comments section:

My truck is a built trail rig. Toyo has a great name already in tires but their Mud Terrain tires are limited in size. Many Ford Explorers and Jeeps that I know are running 35x12.50x15 tires. The 35x13.50x15 tires with an actual width of 14.4 are too wide in many applications. Do you expect to be making 35x12.50x15 Mud Terrains any time in the near future? I know a lot of people who would like these tires, would it help if I gathered a petition to start production?

i was wondering how long it'd take you to post :p

edit: doug- u know im not happy keeping tires any more than 10 months at a time :D; its called experiencing: i now know what GY Wranglers/ Duelers/ Xterrains/ and now BFG AT's feel like... i need to expand my knowledge!

Dont they make like a huge tire, like a 40x12.50r22 or something like that. I thought I saw it somewhere, if they make that I wonder why not a normal size.

Sk1er you go through more rubbers than "that shack outside La Grange..." ;)
in more way than one :D

lol, but during school i do average 3500 miles a month- so that might have something to do with it.

yea Tex, in that link at the top if you click on "specs" it gives all the tire sizes. Like its stupid- they make a 35x12.50x20... wtf is that for?

Most of the "trucks" leaving MTV's Pimp my ride run something like that. I watched a burban last night that left with 37's on 22 inch rims.

I have 2 different sets of the Toyo AT Open Country tires and they make a great tire

I work at a tire shop up here in Maine called Strathem tire. we sell toyo's for truck suv's and cars honestly, there truck/suv tires arnt wurth all the money, alot of peopel do not get there rated millage, and ushaully with in 8-10k miles they start to get choppy, im not impressed with them. And even tho i can pick them up for 35% off i still dont find it wurth my time to own a pair.

actually come to think of it last week a guy came in with them on a chevy 1500 with 245-70-16's and there were chopy as hell had 13,000 miles on them. he was dis-satisfied we gave him a discount on a new set of tires.
just my .02 hope it helps

yea where i work we're a main toyo distributer. as i stated above- i liked conti's for the all terrain line. But when you're dealing with a mud terrain, you're not expecting to get many miles out of them anyways.

however- i was very satisfied with the toyo A/T's I put on my girls little sonoma. and i just put a set on my pops expedition, he has over 20K miles on them already (within 8 months) and they're holding up great. barely showing wear and still drive like the day we put them on.
