trade 1993 xlt for a 2000 ranger?

i have a 93 xlt 4x4 with 100k original miles on it, everything works good. this is my 3rd 1st gen explorer, so i feel i know a lot about them. I have been offered a trade for a 2000 ranger, with 135k on it. everything works except for reverse, all other gears work great. I dont know hardly anything about these rangers! can you guys help me decide?

Without having the complete descriptions of each vehicle and pictures of each, it would be hard to say what to do. I for one would never give up a first generation with 100,000 miles in great condition for something that needs work to be as reliable as what you already got. (if your talking about an everyday driver)
