Man, I'm pissed. I got this thing for Christmas off of Ebay, back at the end of November. Double checked and triple checked that it would fit. Today, I'm off because of the inaguration so I figure I'd give it a try to install it.

It said it's supposed to fit up to the 2001 4-door (which I have), except those with 17" wheels.. well, I don't have 17" wheels, I have 16" (stockers). I get it all installed, luckily I didn't tighten the bolts all the way down, and I decided to raise the spare back up.. the hitch gets in the way of the spare!!!! Damnit!

I might be able to get it to work if I grind down the back end of the square tube (where the receiver slides into) where the spare is hitting.. I tried raising the spare up at different angles to see if that would work, but it just hangs down too low..

it is very common for a trie not to fit due to the hitch... you can try angling it back up in there, it normally works.. or partially deflating it, then putting it up and reinflating it

I think a lot of people's spare won't fit after installing a hitch, I know my spare dosen't fit anymore after installing an aftermarket hitch on mine.

but then when/if I need it, it won't come down.. lol

actually it will, you will have gravity to help..... gravity fights you trying to put stuff up
