I'n posting this queston on this site because I'm guessing more folks have experience in this area. I plan on doing some extensive traveling the next few years searching for my final resting place...uh retirement home
. I won't be doing it in my trusty Mountaineer but in a 1981 Corvette. Since there is less cargo space in a Corvette than say in the glove box of the Mountaineer I'll be getting a trailer. I did plan on getting a trailer from Harborfreight and adding a car top carrier to it. Inexpensive and durable is what I am shooting for here. I don't want to spend $2000+ on a trailer. That being said, there's a reason those trailers are under $300, they're cheap. The only thing I'll be putting in there will be some camping gear and clothes, well under 200 lbs. So, looking for some advice. Will those trailers hold up for a 6k-7k mile trip? Should I go for the 12" wheel for stability?
Thanks,
Dave
