Trak-Lok Posi 28 Spline

I found an 8.8 "Trac-Lok Posi 28 spline" would this fit and make a difference in my mounty, or is this just an impressive name for "Limited Slip"?

To further explain what Alec said.
1) "Trac-Loc" is Ford's name for their factory limited slip.
2) Your Mounty has a 31 spline rear end. The 28 spline Trac-Loc is from a Mustang.

And to expand on #2 a bit more ranger 8.8s also came with 28 spline axles except in the fx4s they have 31 like the explorer.
