Tranfer case different but should work according to the yard that sold it to me

Installed new transfer case on my control trac.the transfer is for posi tranfer case and we have four low but having problems getting it to go into four high.last night the light went out and now the 4h and 4l light flash on the dash.4l worked fine coming to work today.any ideas?

Do you have the part number of the transfer case they sold you?
