Has anyone had their Auto tranny stick in low gear when cold? After the recent cold snap it will not shift when cold, and will usually work fine after driving about a mile. I've checked the fluid level and it's fine. I had the transmission flush service done about a year ago. It runs great when warm so I'm hoping it is something simple to fix. If anyone has ideas on what to check or how to fix please let me know. Thanks!

My mom's 300ZX has the same problem, but no fixes as of yet... anyone have any ideas?

yeah....

My '98 Sport had 96 miles on it... turned out to be a bad Throttle Pos'n Sensor. Could be the same problem with yours, but I can't say for sure. It's not too expensive a part, I believe.

Good luck.

i have the same problem also. usually i can make it shift if i put the shifter in 1st, then 2nd, (have to be careful on the 2nd to drive shift because the tranny will take a second to shift and cause the engine to redline)move it to drive then overdirve and after that it seems to shift fine.
