I just got my explorer back from the shop last week for the warranty on the Transmission. They rebuilt it, and charged me 400 dollars for parts not origonally covered in the first rebuild. Well she started screwing up again in Chapel Hill, doing the same stuff before the 1st rebuild. I am wondering if my Ford dealership knows how to fix a transmission. A freind of mine suggested to complain to Ford Motor Company directly about my little problem. She said that is what she had done for her Jeep, and needless to say, the problem was resolved. I am rather tired of putting my truck in the shop for two and a half weeks at a time for nothing.
