Hi guys,
Maybe someone smarter that myself can figure this one out.
My 5-speed, which was rebuild 9 months ago, is slipping. Everytime I start from a stop or accelerate hard the tranny slips and then catchs. It slips and catches a few times within a few seconds and then everything is fine. It never continues slipping, as if the clutch was trashed.
I am extremely easy on the clutch so I don't think it could be bad. I have read that the transfer cause can cause such a problem, but I don't know how. Could air in the slave cause this?
Do any of you have any ideas? i am desperate. I don't have a few hundred to have someone drop the tranny just to tell me it is ok. I want to check everything, before i have to take it to a tranny shop.
Thanks,
Scott
