Ok, well it all started when my buddy got stuck. I was trying to pull him out when i seen a little smoke coming out from under the truck. i stopped an look under it. there was tranny fluid gushing out form between the block and the tranny. so we towed it home. could this be my seal? i'm lost.

Overheat?

Check the fluid, my guess is that you overheated. I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Smoke and tranny fluid out from the bellhousing. Checked the fluid on the way home, everything seemed to be ok. Changed the fluid and havent had any problems since.

Most likely was the pump seal though. Assuming it can still move and no internal parts were destroyed I would change the fluid and see what happens. If you dont want to take the risk take it to a shop have them check it out.

I am upgrading my aux trans cooler to a larger plate cooler and its own electric fan for insurance.

all gone

ALl of the fluid that was in the trani completly drained out. so it was dry. i didn't want to overheat it and burn it up so i didn't drive it after that. i'm guessing that it was the seal, that's what alot of my friends are saying. And it won't hold any fluid so i guess i gotta pull the tranni and seal what's goign on. thanks alot though.
