Ok,
In another post I stated that I was getting the following codes:
566- 4/3 Shift solenoid/circuit
629- Torque converter clutch circuit fault

Now a day after running the scanner the tranny starts acting up and every now and then it won't shift past 1st gear (Auto Tranny), but after a few seconds it goes back to normal. Then the next day I get up and go out and it won't get out of 1st again, but this time it won't at all. So I drive to my uncle shouse and we check the fluid, seems it was low. Here's another mistake by me, I buy a quart and pour it in. Nothing happens, so I drive home and give-up, but an hour later I get determined to try again. So I take it for a drive and nothing for awhile, then I hit the 4X4 button and engage the 4X4, now it starts shifting, so then I disengage the 4X4 and it shift like normal. I drive it around town the rest of the day and it's fine. But then in the eveing I get in to get on the highway and about 4 miles out at 70-75 miles and hour I look out of the rearview and I'm smoking. I pull over and try to see if the smoke is coming out of the exhaust or what, I look under the car and right where the tranny meets the engine it's smoking real bad, the smoke is a white smoke. So I turn back and as I'm going I look back but not much smoke, then as I spend more time on the highway getting back it starts smoking again. By the time I make it home it's not smoking much. Anyhow, I used my uncles EX to go where I have to go. I get back and check under neath mine and the ground is dry????? What the heck? I thought something was leaking? Maybe it didn't make it to the ground, the hot exhaust got it first? Not sure. Then I realize I didn't check the tranny fluid as or after I filled it. Could it be that I put in too much? Does the tranny overflow when over filled? If so, how do I make sure I have enough fluid and if I have to much what do I need to do? I am tranny iliterate so any help is welcomed. Funny thing is when I drove it home from my uncles house late last night it seemed like the tranny had some more kick to it. What the heck? Help me out guys. Thanks

Another thing, when I bought the car I had the seals put in, since they where gone. So the seals are brand new. Also, if I had blown a seal there would be tranny fluid on the ground, right? I know when I bought it that was the case, tranny fluid on the ground and an empty tranny wouldn't even go into gear. So I hope I'm right and it was just an overflow. Let me know your opinions.

Too long for me to read

But, if you can't find the leak it is the vacuum modulator. There won't always find gobs of fluid. Just change it.

I don't think those codes can be generated by the operation of transmision. Sounds like the plug in connector is loose at the transmission.
