My 4wd would not work so i replaced the bumper in the shift motor and still nothing. Computer tested good. hubs good. I think it might be the dash switch. the 4wd high lite is always on. is there any way to test the switch. its a 94 explorer
Also. when its ideling in gear its pulsates between 1000/1500 rpms then when i put it in park it idles up to 2000/2500 rpm till i put it in n or d. Ive cleaned the map sensor, the tps sensor, and the throttle body and nothing has helped.
its been shifting hard lately. It will cruse down the highway all day long fine but when in traffic especially slowing down and speeding up it clunks and lurches. I checked the fluid and its fine.
