It was time recently to have the transmission serviced on our '04. One shop that we took it to said they didn't have the filter.
I took it to another shop and asked if they had the filter and they asked "what filter? They don't have your traditional filter. You replace the "cloth".
OK, what's the deal? What goes on in these tranny's? And by the way should it cost $150 for the service? I asked my wife to take by where she gets the oil changed at and that what's she ended up getting charged?
