hello,
I have a 1994 XLT 4x4 4dr auto, and when I removed the radiator, the trans cooler on the side tank really didn’t have any fluid in it. Not bone dry, but on other ford vehicles I have worked on, there was a fair amount of trans fluid in the side tank.
The dipstick reads fine, wondering if I should add fluid?
In theory, I should be able to add fluid and the level on the stick should stay the same, up to a certain point. Does this sound right?
Thanks
