Trans shifting, overdrive flashing

Hello all

I have a 1995 Exployer limited. My overdrive light is flashing and the transmision won't shift into 2nd gear unless I let up off the gas pedal. Both of these problems occured at the same time . Has anyone seen this problem before?

Sounds as if you either need to adjust the od band or if its broke (common) then you will need to rebuild it or have it done do a search on 4r55e band adjustments or just
Look up 4r55e and you will find that problem many times on here.
