Trans: went to replace the valve body and found this...

hey guys

Had truck wouldn't shift from 1-2 without letting off the gas. Od light flashes. Otherwise ran ok. Thought it was prob the valve body or solenoids so went to replace it and these thing were at the bottom of the pan. I know the one piece if from the intermediate band. Not sure about the two claw like things.

Any ideas?

They look to be from the band. Forget the name but they fit between the band and the adjustment screws and servos. Your looking at a total rebuild or swap.

Cool thanks. Figured it would need a rebuild. Pulled the transfer case out and preparing to pull the trans. Might be difficult by myself.

Ithe explorer was free and is kinda a hobby vehicle. Trying do decide what I want to spend on it.
