I have read about this a couple times, is this a common problem? I just had a transfer case go out, it got to where I couldnt turn anymore without everything getting in a bind. It finally broke and just slips now. So I swapped the case for another used one and this one does the same thing. I cant turn hard without everything getting in a bind. I tried the "brown wire mod" and it still doesnt release. I know I had the right brown wire because I ohmed the wire to the transfer case.
