transfer case issues

alright well i blew up the trans in my 91 x and im replacing it. well i took both drive shafts off and unbolted the transfer case from the transmission. nothing is holdin the transfer case on the trans why the hell wont it come off any ideas on how to get it off????

Pry it? (you got all 5 bolts off, correct?)

It could be stuck on the dowel pin (rust/corrosion).

Or it could be RTV'd on.. I used "right stuff" when I put mine on.. I though it needed it.. it was a pain in the rear to get off.. I had to pry a little all the way around and it still took me a long while to get it off.
