Transfer case just blew

Going home and at a point some grind than nothing in any gear. Does move under power in 4 lo. It's 98 explorer ifs 4.0 sohc 2 door.

It has f87 blah transfer case in it. Can I put a f77 or what?

I'm at the the junkyard now. Any ideas. I know mine will kick in auto 4wd when there's slippage on a surface. I found one the tag is alil different. It's off a 99 it's a f87 but for some reason it does t appear the same
