i have a 2002 4.0 ex 4x4. just had new bearings, ball joints, struts and broke springs replaced.had the tranny done last fall.everything was good.drove on vacation last week and looked under the car just to check for leaks and my transfer case is leaking. it looks like the seal behind the front drive shaft.has anyone changed these on the vehicle.just looking at it it looks like i can but ive never fooled with a t case before.at least the fluid is bright red so its not burnt up.thanks for any advice.

just in case any one else is wondering it cant be replaced without opening up thei transfer case.i was hoping it was like the one in the transfer case diary thread on here, but its not.the yoke is part of the output shaft.i drained the fluid took out the drive shaft and hit the yoke a few times before i realized this.filled it back up and so far it hasnt leaked a drop.im keeping my fingers crossed .maybe its my lucky day
