I bought my 2001 Explorer Sport [Black, 4x4] about 2 weeks ago for $2,000 [Awesome!]
So after changing the oil / filters / all the common stuff , I want to do some things to her.
What do you guys suggest?
I would like to lift her, but not too much. I dont plan on doing "SERIOUS" off-roading, but wouldnt mind the occasional trip. I've never been off-roading, so yea.
Ideas
1.) Cold Air Intake (K&N) - Ive heard stories about hydro lock, is it common?
2.)LIFT - I dont know much about this procedure, so I will have to research.
3.) Bull bar WITH skidplate on the bottom (kind of like the Nissan Frontier)
4.)Paint the gray plastic Black? Opinions!?
So far thats what i want to do, What do you guys think? Any suggestions/tips?
