just under the wire....
You could connect a 0-300 PSI gauge to get some readings. The solenoid blocks tend to act up around 60K miles. The price on the solenoid blocks went up recently. Here's a link:

nice, I just purchased a pack two weeks ago for a full trans rebuild, always nice to save a few bucks!
Brooklyn, I have read many posts recommending an additive - I decided on the lubeguard green bottle(I think)
I see very few posts on oil type and upgrades.
My 5r55w uses mercV - which I believe is a synthetic oil.
I had my parts disributor at my shop deliver new atf - he brought mercIII.
He thought it was all the same - the second time he brought wolf's head super uni.
All the searching I have done shows good reviews. While I can not find it directly from amalie, who blends wolf, I did find this....stating the wolf oil is a true synthetic 4 or 5 base -

I am not sure if motorcraft is 3,4 or 5 group.
Here is my question.
Is/If the wolf super Uni(or others such as amsoil,mobile1) is superior to the stock oils(motorcraft mercV in my case)....is an additive still useful or benefitial?
inquiring minds want to know.
