transmission cooler

In an effort to get some life out of my recently rebuilt A4LD tranny, I installed a Derale transmission cooler with temperature controlled blower fan. Since heat is one of an automatic transmissions biggest enenmies, I thought this would help. Does anyone else run this setup and did I waste my money or was it a good move?Most all my 'wheeling is beach running for surf fishing in NJ and NC.

The first mod many of us do is an aftermarket tranny cooler. I think the fan is a great idea too, can't hurt.

Good luck with it. Your next mod should probably be going over the entire truck and undercarriage and doing your best to guard against rust from your beach running.
