After fixing both hoses on the transmission cooler. I forgot which one went out and which one goes to the tranny. But technically is doesn’t matter does it? One pushes out and one pulls in.

Does the transmission cooler have a pump?

Thanks

The pump in the tranny circulates the atf through the cooler. Usually the top of the cooler is the hot (in) and the bottom cool (out). If the cooler is set up sideways (left - right, right - left) I don't think it matters which hose you hook up to. I hope this makes sense.

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE

between 96 and 94

thanks

The info i gave is generic. I have a 96 5.0 so it might be different than yours.

I have a '94 and when I put a tranny temp gauge on it, I used the line that is on the driver side because I read, or was told (or decided on my own by gauging the temperature in both lines), that the tube on the driver's side is the one from the transmission, and the tube on the passenger side is the one that goes back to the transmission.
