Discovered fluid on my driveway from front of vehicle. Thought it was coolant, but it was dark. Turns out the cooling line from radiator to transmission was backed off quite a bit. No recent work on it. Anyone experience before?

Quick - put a new radiator in it - half of the hard work is done!!!

Don't mean to make light of your problem but getting those damn things out of the radiator was an hours long job. I just can't see one falling out on it's own unless you caught it on something or there is rust involved. Is the plastic piece still in place that goes between the fitting and the line?

Yeah, everything is in place, no rust or damaged plastic. The connector was just loose a few turns. Really weird.
