Hello, how many bottles of Mercon V I need for drain and fill on 2005 Mountaineer with 5r55s tranny?
Also, I want to install a Magnefine inline filter. Did anyone install this filter in their truck?
Per Magnefine I need to install the filter after the tranny cooler in the return line. Which line is the return line in my truck (top or bottom line)?
I also notice that the rubber hose section on the cooler line is very short. Is it okay to connect a new rubber hose and loop up, add the filer and loop it back? Or is it better to cut the steel line and add the filter?
