FPN OF COURSE.

do some shopping around... do you have autoparts stores out there other than the dealers? for us here in the US, a tranny filter and pan gasket is like $20 USD

nah not so common here in AUS it ****'s me that you can buy anything in the US we cant even buy R34a a/c recharge gas here

Try

www.bulkpart.com for the filters. The same filter fits all the 91-02 V6 Explorers A4LD, 4R55E, 5R55E transmissions and they are only $10 US. Minimum order international is $100 but I'm sure you could find a few friends at this price. Get some manuals too. Pan gaskets and the O rings are seperate order items. The SPX MicroFelt is OEM and top of the line. Get long pickup tube version, it is easily cut if needed.

EDIT: A little too early in the morning for me.

hey thanks guy's but for the TRANS service i thought the only things i needed to do it was the TRANNY OIL, FILTER, and GASKET, So what are the O rings and the SPX MicroFelt (OEM) for?

Well

You drop the pan, if its been there a long time, you will need a new gasket. Most kits usually come with this. Bulkpart as the name implies is a wholesaler to transmission shops. Rebuild kits come with these parts so costs are kept lower by not supplying them extra. There are two O rings (large & small)that seal the filter to the valve body. Forget these and transmision will shift funny when it sucks in air. The filters do come with new bolt and hardware. Some have used the old hardware and found the bolt bottoms out before the filter is tightened. The bolt is recessed so it is not obvious. Five hundred miles later it starts shifting funny after the filter drops down. I mention SPX because other cheaper metal screen filters that can't filter anything) are offered. MicroFelt is the trademark for the fiber element filter
