Thank you for moving my thread, I'm still not sure how to work this forum yet. Fluid level seems fine and yes the o/d light was flashing at one point before I unplugged the battery. One thing I did notice is a lot of the screws were very loose on the tranny which had me thinking it was low on fluid but that doesn't seem to be the case. I was accelerating when the problem accrued. Would it be possible that something is loose on the out side of the tranny therefore the tranny isn't building pressure?

The pan bolts were loose and also 2 of the bolts that hold the transmission to the engine were loose and 2 big bolts on the drivers side . I have no way of scanning for codes and the light hasn't come back on.
